Mission

AMSSA Student Conference

Two Year 10 students were selected from a large group of applicants, to represent Santa Maria College at the recent Australasian Mercy Secondary Schools Association (AMSSA) Conference. This conference is held every second year and gathers students attending Mercy Colleges from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

WACE Examinations

WACE examinations have already begun with some practical examinations being held during the holidays and WACE written examinations begin on Monday 3 November. Boarding Issue

This weekend has seen a lot of laughter and just a few tears in Boarding. On Friday evening our Year 12 girls were out of the House to Laser Tag while Year 11 boarders organised a farewell breakfast and games for them. The Year 11 boarders can be extremely proud of their organisational skills, their teamwork and their cooperation.

Middle School

Explore8

The Year 8 Enriched Learning Task, Explore8, will begin in week 6 and continue into week 7. The  students will spend a 2 week period learning  and developing  skills in research and thinking skills that will enable them to prepare and present a project with the title “Improving Australia's Future.
