Santa Maria College has a long and proud Mercy heritage and tradition.
The societal footprint of Santa Maria College 1938 – present is represented by the Santa Maria Archives and Heritage Collection. The Collection comprises items of enduring value for the College Community. The collection consists of:
- records in various formats, including photographs and digital objects which cover a variety of topics
- memories and data sets of students, staff, tutors, board members, committee members, businesses etc, people who have had interaction with the College
- artefacts representing the Santa Maria College Community; and
- a small art collection.
The Archives and Heritage section of the College, is responsible for ensuring that through long term preservation these items will remain accessible by the College Community.
Donations to the Archives and Heritage Collection can be made by arrangement with the Archivist and can only be accepted after a formal transfer to the College has been completed.
